Our Priest In Charge

St. Paul’s is excited to have established an arrangement with Christ Church in Warwick, NY.  This calling from God to share clergy aides both churches, in our case, providing just the right amount of support our parishioners and community needs.  This position will serve as an assistant rector for Christ Church as well as the priest in charge for St. Paul’s.

This opportunity comes with a lot of benefits.  The benefit of keeping our own St. Paul’s values and community while taking advantage of the some of the benefits Christ Church offers.  We’re happy to have made this arrangement, maintaining our identity while working together with the people of Christ Church under the communion of the Episcopal Church.  Our priest will be mentored by Father Jim, rector at Christ Church.

This is an experiment of sorts for the Diocese of New York, although a tried and true method in the U.K.
